Nashville, TN - (June 26, 2012) - Sidewalk Prophets, 2010 Dove Award winners for "Best New Artist," treated Nashville Sounds' fans to an hour-long concert Friday night at Greer Stadium just prior to the baseball game against Oklahoma City. The Fervent Records' artists performed the title track, "Live Like That," from their new album which resides at No. 2 on Billboard's Christian Songs chart.
On March 27, Sidewalk Prophets released their sophomore effort, Live Like That, on Fervent Records. The band first rode to popularity with their debut release, These Simple Truths, which spawned the hit single, "The Words I Would Say," and led to the Dove Award for "New Artist of the Year" and nomination for "Pop/Contemporary Album of the Year" in 2010. Live Like That is produced by fellow Dove Award winner Ian Eskelin and features the hit song "Live Like That." Sidewalk Prophets have toured with the Rock and Worship Roadshow alongside MercyMe and Francesca Battistelli among others, and landed another Dove nomination for "Group of the Year" in 2011.
